Created to showcase the prowess of a single hop per batch, our Monogamy IPA series has been an integral part of Bellwoods for almost a decade. More recently we decided to shine a light on the tropically-inspired New Zealand hop varieties, which is also when we learned that Kiwi birds mate with one partner for life! The rest, as the old story goes, is ˜HiStOrY˜.

This edition of Monogamy was brewed with "Mega Motueka", a special type of hybrid hop product from Free Style Hops that combines the Motueka variety with Phantasm (a sauv-blanc-derived, thiol-rich powder dreamed up by Jos Ruffell of Garage Project in NZ). Tbh, that's a lot of info packed into one sentence, but all you need to know is that these hops are supercharged and engineered to be intensely aromatic.

This batch features notes of orange pez, blue raspberry slushie and rose water.
