Franconian Lager' is kind of a broad term. It covers a wide range of beers that are brewed in the German region of Franconia.

Our Senior Brewer Rick was in Europe for a short trip last year and bought a bottle of lager in a bottle shop from Knoblach Brewery. It was crisp, refreshing and bitter, yet soft and drinkable with a pronounced malt character. He found it an inspiring beverage. Our 'Franconian Lager' is a product of that memory.

This beer is a rustic and cloudy lager, with bready malt character, and pleasant minerality and subtle sweetness. It drinks soft and smooth, and its giving aromas of honey on toast, arrowroot biscuits, clay, and buckwheat.
