Brewed in collaboration with Colorado's Weldwerks Brewery on the eve of Witchstock 2019, this imperial stout was an ambitious, longterm undertaking.
Boiled for 18 hours, aged for 22 months in Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Chocolate Malted Rye Bourbon barrels, and then conditioned on a hefty dose of cacao nibs and vanilla beans it is the embodiment of the word "yowza!"
Spicy rye malt notes prevail within a velvety smooth body, while the flavours centre around dark chocolate, spirit character, oak, and vanilla. This collaborative labour of love is our take on a barrel aged chocolate bar shoved into a stout, and bottled for optimal portability. We can't wait for you to enjoy it.
