Wet hop pale ales are made using whole cone, fresh hops straight from the bine, instead of the more common dried and pelletized form. The style is a rare seasonal treat, possible only during the hop harvest which occurs just once a year in each hemisphere. Bine Hunter 2018 utilizes Comet hop flowers from Northwest Hop Farms in BC's Fraser Valley, and deserves to be consumed AFAP (as fresh as possible!).
What it smells and tastes like: This year's edition is just as fresh and juicy as you'd expect, with bright notes of nectarine, rose petal, anise, and rosemary.
