Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and detail oriented Accounting Clerk who will focus on assisting the Controller with all financial related tasks, including AP, AR, inventory management and monthly reporting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our accounting team, learn about the various aspects of accounting in the brewing industry and grow with our fast-paced organization.
Previous experience in the hospitality and/or alcohol manufacturing industry will be considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts payable, preparing payment runs, and reconciling statements.
Assist with proper recording of daily transactions. - Contact suppliers and customers by phone and email to make or secure timely payments while maintaining good relations and a positive company image.
- Participate in month-end closing procedures and generating financial statements.
- Assist with hospitality-focused Cost of Sales, Gross Margin and Labour reporting.
- Provide general administrative support, including organizing and maintaining records, filing, and other tasks.
- Handle and secure confidential departmental data.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience with previous exposure to A/P, A/R and bank reconciliations preferred.
- Some formal education in accounting would be considered an asset.
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with all internal and external partners.
- Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Well-organized and have strong time management skills to be able to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets with the ability to express data using Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
- Previous experience with QuickBooks Online preferred; able to adapt and learn new software.
- Previous experience working with Point-of-Sale software.

Dishwasher
Bellwoods Brewery is looking for a part-time seasonal Dishwasher to join our team.
The most important qualities we look for are a positive attitude, being a team player, and possessing a great work ethic. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is committed to following all health and safety guidelines. While previous experience is an asset, we mainly require consistent availability for a flexible rotation of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. Additional weekday shifts may also be available.
