Years ago, we brewed a series of pilsners that were identical in every way except for the yeast. All the yeast came from Escarpment Labs, and while they were all lovely, the crowd favourite was the one brewed with their Isar yeast.
We've brewed this beer a handful of times since, but in our minds, this batch takes the cake.
Brewed with a select blend of pilsner malts and Saaz hops, this pilsner is smooth, soft, and bright, with refreshing notes of golden raisins, freshly fallen rain, tobacco, and sweet grass. A pleasantly bitter finish rounds things out, leaving you ready for another sip.
