Summer 2012: Luc Bim Lafontaine (Head Brewer, Dieu Du Ciel!, Montreal) mashing in “Last Splash”, a Wakatu DIPA, which was released in late August 2012. The Wakatu hop proved to be more subdued than many of the West Coast American varieties we’ve come to love, but the resulting beer was ripe and fruity with reserved bitterness. Thanks to Luc for this delicious opportunity!
Summer 2012: Jeppe Jarnit—Bjergsø aka Evil Twin (of Evil Twin Brewing, Denmark & Brooklyn) conjures evil into the mash with a simple gesture of his right hand. The Twin Peach (American pale ale brewed with peaches) continues to be served throughout the year at Toronto’s Momofuku.
